Signal Kdrama Ep 1&2 recap

He freaking alWhen i tell you.... "you can never go wrong with a TVN drama" please believe me because  korean cable dramas deliver life on a freaking silver platter.
This drama Director is the same one that did Misaeng. If you didn't watch Misaeng...... we have some things to talk about lol. So i really don't know why i started this drama...I DON'T KNOW WHY....This drama is pure unadulterated gold. Way better than Gap Dong.

Plot
Detectives from the present and a detective from the past communicate via walkie-talkie to solve a long-time unsolved case.

Where to begin with this lovely drama.... i freaking love it. Who would have thought i'd be one of the biggest fans of crime themed dramas....hmmmmmmm. The lead actor had me hooked 20minutes into the drama... and by the time we got to the middle i had goose bumps because of the daebakness of the acting and the plot.

SO far in the first and second episode a case has been solved with the help of the lead guy who is also the witness in the first case we are presented with. There was a hitch though... the first case had two murders in it one of a little girl and a man. The statute of limitation ran out on that of the little girl but that of the man still had some time so they were able to charge the murderer with only one murder. This didn't sit well with the mother of the child and the people of Korea because of the injustice the surrounds statutes of limitations. Like when you actually catch the culprit but cannot persecute them so basically its a big "MERONG" in the face of the victims' family.

The government ended up changing the statute of limitations on murders. When it comes to a murder now there are no limitations and the person can be charged whenever they are caught.

Since it was a cold case and he helped solve it, the community now wants all the other cases solved. And sexy ass Lee Je Hoon is the man. His voice is just so damn sexy. But any who... the police department sets up a cold case unit. The point of the unit is to get rid of the officers because they basically riled up the whole country.

The most important part of this drama is that LJH's character communicates with an officer in the past like it says in the plot they use a walkie talkie. The whole thing was discovered by accident and I'm loving it. That officer is missing in the present day and the female officer that works with LJH is looking for him....i guess we'll find out what happened to him later.

The entire drama so far is just fantastic. It airs on Friday and Saturday and drama fever has them subbed on both nights.
