The best thing i have found about dramas is the OST. I swear every drama i watch some way some how i end up downloading damn near all the songs in it because each episode starts off with a whole freaking music video and ends with one too. So by the time you are about 4 episodes in you're already involve with the songs and practically know it by heart.
Taste of Love
Wen Feng's restaurant business has gone downhill since his mother/star chef's hospitalization because no one could recreate her world famous duck dish. To find the missing ingredient in their duck sauce, he decides to go back to the places where his mother began her career. With the help food tour guide Ye Xiao He, he goes on a food odyssey discovering the tastes that culminated in their restaurant's most famous dish.
Omo omo omo food. Any drama about food already has my heart like you can't say anything else to me. As long as it has food in it I'm watching.... no matter how long it is lol. The leads are so sexy together and this is definitely a drama that you can probably watch in one sitting.The thing that annoys me about this drama is how stupid the 2nd leads are. Like how the fuck can you tell a grown man to court and marry someone else just so you can get the man while the fool you are giving orders is involve with you? The second lead guy is the daftest of all..."i'll do anything for you" bitch what???? You are a grown man performing childish dumb acts because you like someone. If she doesnt like you back please find someone else simpu.
Bromance
Because of one simple word from a soothsayer, Pi Ya Nuo has been raised as a boy all her life. By chance she saves underworld mob boss Du Zi Feng and his sister. His sister falls in love with Pi Ya Nuo at first sight. Things gets complicated when the she becomes "sworn brothers" with the mob boss, just as her 26th birthday comes closer, and with it her chance to finally live as a woman. As her 26th birthday approaches, she must decide if she wants to return to a woman or continue to be Du Zi Feng's best pal.
Okay this drama is as cheesy as it can be but oh my days you can't help but squeal when the OTPs have any form of physical contact with each other. This drama is going to be 18 episodes and we are already 14 eps in. I caught on to this late and have been watching the episodes when i have some down time. At first the lead guy looked weird to me but then i got use to him. He's a character you are conditioned into liking. The kiss scenes are fantabulous and I'm loving the gender bending situation.
Since this is still airing so far so good. I love the pace at which it the drama is going but tdrama come on you need to quit with the one episode a week thing it is very frustrating.
Love Cuisine
"Life is best lived through the cuisine of the world. Han Jie (Lego Li) is a heralded celebrity chef who runs a restaurant in Europe but returns to Taiwan to become a culinary teacher at Si Ping High School to fulfill his promise to his old mentor. Fang Xiao Rou (Allison Lin), the mentor’s daughter, also works as a culinary instructor at the school and immediately clashes with Han Jie on teaching and cooking. This drama just ended but i thought it a worthy mention. Tis another drama kind of focusing on food with a bunch of other things going on. At first i thought this drama will focus only on high school kids since that's where most of it takes place and is centered around but i was quit surprised at the outcome. The drama did drag for a little bit but it was nothing that was unbearable. The pairings in this drama OMG i totally shipped them all ditzy and 100% klutz which can be annoying. The female lead is A light drama about the relationship between teachers and their students.....and the eye candy is jjang.
