Angel Eyes 1-6

Ahhh this drama what can i say about it so far? The kids gave me life in the first two episodes and now the grown ups are giving oxygen ....Peaked your interest yet????? Keep reading.

The cast alone attracted me to this drama, where you have Kang Ha Neul to start us off as the young version of the main character and then you have the main guy Lee Sang Yoon who is just hubba hubba no words to describe him.

The female lead is the one and only Boys Over Flowers' Koo Hye Sun who is just brilliant in this dram and the actress that played her younger self is Nam Ji Hyun.

Synopsis
Park Dong-Joo is a surgeon. His first love was a blind girl. Yoon Soo-Wan is an emergency 119 worker. She was blind when she was younger, but an eye transplant surgery allowed her to see. Park Dong-Joo and Yoon Soo-Wan were each other's first love. They separated due to sad family histories. They meet again 12 years later.

So right off the bat the characters on my hate list are Yoon Soo Wan's father. Kang Ji Won's mother and the black mailing doctor. That's basically it for now. The main couple are just as cute as can be. We are 6 episodes in and i am completely glued to this drama.  The gist of this drama is Yoon Soo Wan was blind when she was younger, Dylan's mom go in an accident and while in the hospital the person responsible for her accident sent a henchman to finish her off. We are not sure yet if he was successful but Soo Wan's dad came in and took off her oxygen mask because he saw his daughter's name on the chart to get the patient's eyes if she dies. By the time her dad came to his senses and realized what he was doing it was too late. She dies and his daughter got her eyes.

He's guilty and in order to make himself feel better about the evil he'd done he put Dylan through school in the US and now Dylan is back in S.Korea and this doesn't sit well with dear ole dad. It's been 12 years since Dylan saw Soo Wan because he had to leave last minute and wasn't there to see her when she got out of surgery.  While she was still blind she got to meet Dylan's family and got really close to them. She even called his mother mom. After her surgery she had no way of contacting Dylan and his family and did not know what happened to his mom.

Oh by the way he's a doctor and with a very important position at that. He claims Dylan is like a son to him and he doesn't want him dating his daughter. She has finally reconnected with her first love after a whole bunch of bullshit of him trying his best to deny who he was to her because he found out she is seeing someone. He really hurt her trying to push her away and she has been holding on to his memory for the past 12 years. As a viewer i actually felt her pain. By ep 6 she knows the whole story behind his disappearance and his mom dying but she doesn't know her dad put him through school and the obvious one of her having his mom's eyes. Her dad convinced Dylan to drop everything, transfer and go back to the states but Soo Wan got to him at the airport and that's where we left off.

Her boyfriend is being played by Kim Ji Suk the evil guy from Cheongdamdong Alice and the second lead in I Need Romance 2. His character is  Kang Ji Woon who is way too nice for my liking. He's so friendly and out going and nice to Dylan and it makes me sick. I cannot wait for him to turn evil there's that feeling that when he finds out about Dylan being her first love he'll go apeshit and to please his mom he'll loose it because as they are dating now he knows she's still holding on to the memory of her first love and there's no room for him.

I knew i didn't like Joon's mom for a reason she has evil written all over her face. She made a statement in episode 5 saying "she didn't like the fact that there was someone better than her son at the hospital" referring to Dylan. I mean who wouldn't be jealous of him perfect records and the best in his field plus he's cute too.

There are some lovable characters like Seungri's character is who is just fantastically funny and the fire chief who is played by Gong Hyun Jin. His scenes are the best and his Korean English lines just kill me.

The OST fr this drama is out of this world. It's just fantastic and mega catchy. Currently listening to the ones i've gotten.
